"The founder of Slytherin..."
Harry's face was ashen, as if he had lost all spirit.
"Slytherin isn't all bad!"
Seeing Harry like this, Hermione frowned and clung tightly to Luke's arm.
"You're so biased."
Harry looked up at Luke and shook his head quickly.
"I didn't mean that, you know, Luke..."
Having spent so much time with Gryffindors, Luke seemed almost like one of them. If it weren't for the green robes, they might forget he was a Slytherin.
"I just don't understand how the Sorting Hat works. Someone as kind as Luke in Slytherin! It's as absurd as Lockhart being in Ravenclaw."
"It's alright," Luke chuckled softly.
After the morning club ended, they headed to the Great Hall for breakfast. Fred and George were already seated and waved at Luke and the others.
"What happened to your face, Ron?" George asked, noticing his brother's bruised face.
"Who picked a fight with you?" Fred added, concern flickering in his eyes.
"Lockhart started a dueling club this morning, and I ended up with Slytherin's Pansy Parkinson..."
Hearing the twins questioning him, Ron proudly recounted his duel, even mentioning how Pansy nearly surrendered to him.
Luke and Hermione sat together. Their books and notes safely stored in the Kamui space, Luke's arm had been held tightly by Hermione since the end of class. As they settled down, Hermione released his arm and ordered two cups of herbal tea.
"I really want chocolate..." Luke sighed wistfully after receiving the fragrant tea.
Although he yearned to confide in Hermione about his Thunder Dragon physique, seeing her caring gaze made him hesitate.
"Do you see over there?" Fred joined them, pointing towards a group of Gryffindor first-years in the distance.
The two weren't particularly interested in listening to Ron's boasting, which prompted him to gulp down his carrot soup.
"What's going on?" Hermione asked, following Fred's gesture to a lively gathering of young wizards.
They were seated together, animatedly discussing something amidst a circle of onlookers.
"They're playing Hearthstone?" Fred guessed, glancing at Hermione for confirmation.
"As expected of the boss lady, you've already figured it out!" Fred chuckled playfully.
"Boss lady..." Hermione blushed slightly, casting a quick glance at Fred's handsome profile.
"It's not just them; there are others playing at different tables too," George added, pulling out a note from his pocket that detailed Fairy Tail's earnings in Kim Galleons.
"So far, we've made over 2,000 gold Galleons!" George announced proudly.
Harry glanced over, knowing both he and Ron were investors in the venture.
Before Luke could respond, Fred continued, "And that's just the Hogwarts students in half a month!"
Earning two thousand gold Galleons in such a short time showcased their impressive business acumen, possibly making them a leading establishment in Diagon Alley.
"Alright, I'll have some new ideas for you next semester," Luke nodded approvingly. "Ever heard of werewolf hunting?"
"I have!" Hermione's eyes lit up, eagerly raising her hand.
"You can sit down," Luke chuckled, amused by Hermione's enthusiasm.
Luke playfully tousled Miss Hermione's hair. Over the holidays, they had enjoyed many games together.
"But werewolf killing requires more people."
"Werewolf killing?" Fred wondered. "You mean hunting wizards who turn into werewolves on full moon nights?"
"Werewolf Killing is also a... um, a board game!"
Luke sipped Hermione's fragrant tea and explained with a smile.
By evening, Luke had already detailed the game's rules and played a few rounds. Yet, it was evident that someone less sharp often got voted out.
"What kind of ghost game is this? You guys want to vote me off again!" Ron protested, unconvinced.
"You're cheating!"
"You can't help but smirk when you get the werewolf card; it's hard not to give yourself away," Fred pointed out, shaking his head.
"Still, it's a pretty good game," George mused, studying his note with his assigned werewolf identity.
"If it were combined with magic, it might be like Hearthstone!"
"The magic twist would be up your alley," Luke offered his opinion, lacking the twins' imaginative flair.
"Don't worry!"
Fred and George burst into laughter at Luke's reassurance. Werewolf Killing didn't involve many cards—just a few identity cards—so mastering it before next semester wouldn't be difficult. Besides, they had off-campus help in Albus Dumbledore.
Though Dumbledore had declined the Weasley twins' offer to join Fairy Tail, he was always available to assist with minor issues.
After chatting for a while, Luke and Hermione took their leave.
Hermione wore a satisfied smile as they headed toward the Room of Requirement on the eighth floor.
"In the game of Werewolf Killing, Miss Hermione's reasoning and logic completely outclass Fred and the others," Luke observed as the game's referee.
"She's got the whole game figured out."
"Did you have fun?" he asked with a chuckle.
"No fun without you!" Hermione replied mischievously, a phrase she'd likely picked up from Luke.
"Hey, look, isn't that Peeves?" She pointed to the top of the stairs, tugging on the corner of Luke's shirt.
