He was speechless when he saw the first skill, it was too overpowered.
He had been waiting for the egg to hatch so he decided to use the chance to check his system and check his progress in the past few days. He shook his head when he saw it, he was supposed to be delighted but compared to Amelia's own, it made him look as if he was not working. The desire to get stronger was now heavy in his mind. He knew that he wouldn't be able to surpass Amelia for now unless he underwent his third evolution.
Liz told him that the reason Amelia was able to advance that fast was because she was injured. It will even take her longer to open her later meridians. She might not open another meridian for one month again. Even though their meridian adds one hundred percent to their body stats, it takes a lot longer for them to open it and they might not be able to open it fully till they die. The more they open it, the lesser the effect.
Liz told him that after opening ten meridians, then before can have a hundred percent increase in strength if another ten meridians. Once they open the first hundred, then it will reduce to fifty percent, and so on. That's the reason there are only a few bloodline cultivators in the universe. It's just not easy to cultivate a bloodline to become a top expert in the universe. The end product is to cultivate the bloodline to become something visible.
"Hmm" He looked at the egg, hairline cracks were appearing on it. The hairline cracks soon extended to every part of it and it broke. Immediately he saw what looked like an armored horse, with long wings. It was closing its eyes, he felt something attached to his soul and merged with it. Immediately it attached to his soul, the horse's body blazed with chaotic energy and its eyes opened. It was pitch black while the armor on its body turned black. Chaotic energy radiated from it and it neighed.
"It can now control chaotic energy so that's how its eyes will be," Liz told him. He soon felt a flurry of emotions rush into his mind. It was the emotions of his steed now.
"Whoosh" The steed rushed out from his inner world and arrived in front of him. It rubbed its head against his body, it was like a newborn baby's emotion towards his mother.
"Hmm," He looked out.
"They are already out," He thought. He summoned it back into his body and walked out of the room. Amelia, Charlotte, and Martins were already outside the room, they finished their secluded cultivation. Amelia was able to open eight meridians while Martins and Charlotte were only able to open five respectively. He could feel the aura they were exuding, they looked at him with challenging faces the moment they saw him like they were trying to say
"Come fight us" He just smiled wryly as he looked at them. He used his analysis ability on them
Strength: 2240
Agility: 2240
Defense: 2240
Charlotte and Amelia's stats were around that range but when he used the analysis on Amelia
#Opponent is too strong, reach a stat of 10000 before you can have a chance to analyze
They went outside the cabin and looked at the vast water.
"Mark what if you can't resurrect Elizabeth" Martins asked in an attempt to start a conversation.
"I will resurrect her," He said with a firm voice.
"I will do everything apart from turning evil just to resurrect her. If possible, I will fight to the highest gate of heaven and the deepest part of hell just to resurrect her" He continued with a firm voice. Amelia's face dimmed when she heard that but she quickly regained herself.
"Obsession usually leads to something disastrous, most people that are obsessed about something usually turn evil or die because of that thing," Martins said.
"That is if they don't have enough strength and willpower, but with enough strength and willpower, they will rise against all obstacles and get that thing they are obsessed about" He answered as he looked at the vast water.
"Just know that we will always support you in any decision you take, but if you turn the other way we won't hesitate to end you with our hands," Martins told him grimly. The atmosphere turned gloomy immediately after he said that.
"That will be nice" Mark answered. After that they did not say anything, they just looked at the waters as the ship was cruising through the water.
After two weeks of traveling, the ship finally arrived back at the Red Sea, the sea between the land closest to the primordial forest and the forest itself. Mark already opened another ten meridians making it a total of twenty meridians.
"They are already waiting for us," Mark said as he smiled.
"And these opponents are a lot stronger than the ones we are expecting," Martins said with furrowed brows.
"Be careful I can sense three tier 1 creatures among them and I think they are likely to be from the immortal vampire race" Liz said.
"I can't wait to finally get over this and get the ample time to cultivate and open my remaining meridians before undergoing my next evolution," He said as he looked forward with murderous intent.
"Since they have trespassed on my domain, they have to die," He said. The ship finally arrived on the land and they went down from the ship, immediately they were surrounded.
"Finally you are here" A clap was heard as three men walked forward. They looked like humans but their red eyes are the distinct feature of them. Mark looked around but did not find Tiger and the remaining.
"Hmm where is tiger" He asked.
"This is not their fight" The man answered.
"But boy it is quite rude to ignore your elders," The man in the middle said and disappeared. Before Mark could comprehend anything,
"Bang" he was blown away by a punch. The skin around his stomach was blown open but they recovered quickly. He still skidded fifty meters back before he stabilized himself. The other three were alarmed immediately.
"Too powerful," They thought.
"Strong, too strong". The man turned to the side and
"Bang" His punch collided with Amelia's punch. He was thrown back and his hand froze immediately but he still focused on Mark.
"Powerful blood essence" was the thing on his mind. He felt the powerful blood essence from Mark's body. The other two quickly blocked Amelia's path.
The people watching at home felt their hearts leaped out from their bodies when Mark was thrown back but they heaved a sigh of relief when they saw that Mark was okay.
"Who are these people" They thought as they looked at the screen. They became worried.
"I just wanted to finish everything for once here, I've been fighting a lot of battle these days," Mark said as he stabilized himself. He still felt that the air was squeezed out from his lungs. The man laughed.
"Good, very good," He said as he looked at Mark.
"Just like I expected," He said as he looked at Mark.
"Let's introduce ourselves," the man said.
"I'm Elder Long" The man pointed to himself and said.
"Those two are Elder Fei and Elder Fan," He said as he pointed to the two elders who were blocking Amelia's path.
"And we've lived for a few thousand years," He said.
"What's so great about living a few thousand years and still being in a useless tier one," Mark said with mockery.
"Wow that was a low blow, You are still a frog at the bottom of the well so you don't know how difficult it is to reach the first tier," The man said.
"As you already know, we are not from this shabby planet, we are just here because we detected some fluctuation some years ago. We are here basically because of you but we got to get four top talents, I'm delighted" He said.
"Who would want to join your crappy organization" He answered.
"We are immortal vampires, one of the branches of the royal court, We want to recruit you and I will advise you not to refuse, Let me tell you a reason," The man said without caring about Mark's earlier refusal.
"We are vampires, we are the closest to blood and I can sense a very powerful blood essence so I'm greedy now, I might just decide to kill you," Elder Long said.
"Like I said I won't join your crappy organization that can't even raise you to the second tier after a couple of thousand years" Mark answered without a care in the world. Elder Long squinted his eyes when he heard that, the atmosphere was tense for some seconds before he suddenly laughed.
"Since you chose the hardest path to hell, I will make an example out of you. Die" Elder Long said with a cold voice.
The moment Elder Long said the last word Mark removed the blindfold, and his infinite dimension spread out immediately. He was already preparing it for quite sometimes so he released it at the right time. He and Elder Long got dragged into it. The others just saw the two of them disappear within a split second, they did not feel anything because Mark's s dimension was formless.
