"Ye..yes she's telling me as story"the princess stuttered
"By the way, what are you doing here?"Jane asked Dexter
"I came to introduce you to Melinda my best friend"he introduced the lady to the princess
"Hello princess, pleasure to meet you"melinda said smirking to the princess
"Pleas.. pleasure to.. meet you too"Jane replied
She was surprised with the way Melinda cover up everything as if nothing happened between them.
"You look very beautiful,no wonder Dexter fell in love with you"Melinda said
Melinda can you please excuse us for a moment I want to speak with Jane"Dexter requested
"Yes.. sure..I will exc.. excuse you both"Melinda said leaving them alone
All this while prince Clinton was watching them from afar
"Goosh how I wish I could just kill him that way Melinda will be mine"prince Clinton muttered to himself
"I have tried so many times for her to like me but no, she likes Dexter an ordinary soldier.am a prince for gods sake, ladies melt at my presence but Melinda is different, she doesn't care if am a prince and that is the reason why l love her so much"prince Clinton thought to himself
"I think I know what to do".
Dexter and Jane went to sit in the garden at the back of the palace to have a chat.
"How are you doing today my love"Dexter asked looking straight into her eyes
"Am..am doing well"Jane replied turning her face away and folding her hands at the same time

"Okay in the next two weeks we will be getting married,I can't wait to have you in my arms"Dexter said holding her hands but Jane removed her hands immediately
"Errmm, I need to go now"Jane said standing up
"So soon"
"Yes I need to prepare for the wedding.. you know there are alot of things that is needed to be done"
"Alright, I know you are trying to get away from me.let me walked you back to the palace"
And they both walked back to the palace not knowing that Melinda has been watching them
"He can't even wait to get married to her"Melinda said to herself
"Let me see how that happens"
Melinda was thinking of what to do when prince Clinton came to her
"How are you doing Miss Melinda"prince Clinton asked smiling at her but she ignored him and was about passing him by but he drew her back
"Don't ever walk out on me again, do you hear me"the prince said
"Or what"she asked
"I won't do anything to you, but if is someone else I will make sure that she's being flog in public"
"Really,then go somewhere elsewhere and display your power"Melinda spat looking at him angrily
"Why don't you like me Melinda, I have done everything possible for you to like me but you keep following that Dexter who only See's you as his best friend, when are you going to realize that he will never love you"
