On the terrace.
Slanier approached Slantin. He kissed him on the forehead. "Granddad, why are you still awake? It's late. Sorry if I came home late."
Slantin put down the newspaper he was holding. "It's okay, my grandson. I'm really waiting for you. Where's my lipstick, huh?"
They laughed at each other.
"Hmm... I don't just bring lipstick. I have a burger, drinks, and pizza for you!"
"Wow! Thank you!" Slantin happily took the paper bag.
"Uhm... Granddad, I really want to know where my dad is. How do I know him? I know you don't want me to meet him. But you don't say he's dead, so I'm still hoping to see him."
"I'm sorry, grandson, but I have no courage to tell a story about your dad."
"Got it. But I hope one day I will meet Dad. I'm not looking for Dad because I want to leave you, Granddad. I just want to see him."
"Slanier, I will never get tired of understanding your feelings."
"Come on, granddad. Let's eat the food I brought for you. "
Slantin smiled bitterly, which was not shown to him. "Here, eat a lot."
"No, granddad, I'm fine. You must eat that. I decided to just watch you while you were eating."
"Oh! Wait, someone is calling me," He added.
"Uhm… Granddad, I have to go to the police station because there is an emergency, according to Dhamia's report." He ran to the door to grab his jacket.
"I see. Slanier, please take care of yourself. And please, don't forget to pray. He is your strength and shield in your work."
"Yes, granddad. Bye! I love you!"
At the police station.
Dhamia approached him. "God! I'm glad that you're here."
"What happened?"
"Let's go inside." She walked first, followed by Slanier. "Look. He is Hassil. He has been making trouble at this police station for a while now."
"Why?"
"Slan, Sir Hassil's daughter, is missing. According to our organization, as long as the disappearance of a person does not reach 30 hours, we will not take action."
"I see. But we have to help him. I know that we have to follow the rules of our organization, but the man's daughter is pitiful. We don't know that his daughter is already in bad hands."
"That's the reason why I call you. Please, Slanier, help him, not as a police officer but as an individual. I know that you are the one who has the good heart to volunteer to help a man like him."
He bowed. "But… What if I failed?"
"Don't think that you won't succeed. And don't worry, I will accompany you to help the man."
"Really? Thanks, Dham."
Dhamia pulled the Hassil away from the police station.
"Sir, what is the age of your daughter?" Slanier asked Hassil.
"She is only 16 years old. Please, I'm begging you, help me find her! I can't live without her!" Hassil answered, the father of the missing child.
"At what time did she disappear?" Dhamia asked Hassil.
"4:20 PM!" Hassil answered.
"Did you notice anything unusual before she disappeared?" Slanier asked.
Hassil bowed. "She is afraid..."
Slanier looked at him seriously, "From what?"
Hassil looked away. "I don't know!"
"S-sorry… I can't explain the sadness I feel. I need her in my life," Hassil added.
"Sir, did you order her to buy food outside?" Dhamia asked.
Hassil looked at her, "Yes. She left home at 4:10 PM. I called her at 4:19 PM. And when it was 4:20 PM, the call ended."
"So when the call ended, you assumed that she was missing, right?" Dhamia asked again.
Hassil's forehead creased, "Yes, I know her. And she knows me. She is afraid of me, so she will not end the call."
"I see. Have you ever had a fight with someone? Maybe they want to take revenge on your daughter," Slanier sighed.
"I have no fight with anyone. Wait, why do you have so many questions? Let's just find my daughter!" Hassil argued.
Dhamia faced Hassil. "Excuse me, sir. We are trying to help you through the processes we know. We can find her, so calm down."
Slanier started to walk. "Let's go to your place now, sir. We will ask permission from each of the heads of the building to let us watch the CCTV so we can see where your daughter went."
Dhamia tapped Slanier's shoulder. "Don't worry about the permission, Slanier; I have my connections everywhere."
"Thanks, Dham."
One hour later. They reviewed all the CCTV in the nearby buildings. The last time they saw the child was on the playground. But the child left. There's no other CCTV in the area where the child walked away.
Dhamia looked carefully at the road. "Let's trace the direction in which she walked."
Hassil faced Dhamia and Slanier. "Please promise me that we will find her."
Dhamia sighed, "I don't say promise; just wait and trust us."
They arrived at the abandoned building out of curiosity.
"Someone is crying," Slanier whispered.
Hassil stepped back. "Maybe it's a ghost? Let's go outside."
Dhamia took out her flashlight from her pocket. "The one who is crying is a girl. Sir, maybe she's your daughter. Sir, just wait for her."
"Let's go, Dhamia," Slanier said.
Dhamia held Slanier's hand.
"Dhamia, thanks for being with me. I know that you have a lot of work."
"Tsk, Slan. Whatever, cute."
They saw a girl hugging herself near the window.
Slanier approached the child. "Hi, little angel. Come with us."
"I'm a police officer... You are safe now," He added and smiled.
Hassil ran to them. "Oh my god! My daughter! I miss you so much! You make me worried. I thought I would lose you!"
"Police officers, thank you for helping her get back to me," He added. He hugged his daughter.
Dhamia smiled to him and to the little girl, "You're welcome, sir. We will accompany you to your home."
Hassil laughed, "No problem!"
In front of the blue apartment.
"Dhamia, did you notice the bruises on the girl's arm?" Slanier asked.
"Slan, no, why?"
"And did you also notice the fear in her eyes when she saw her father?" He seriously looked at the apartment. He watched it carefully.
"No… Wait, do you mean that the girl left because of her father?"
"Yes, Dhamia, let's knock on their door. Let's pretend that everything is okay."
"Okay, okay! Let's go."
Dhamia knocked on the door three times. Hassil opened the door.
"I forgot to tell you that we thank you for cooperating with us," She faked a smile.
Hassil smiled, "That's nothing."
Slanier noticed that the girl was whispering to him for help. He could read the child's pronunciation of the word help.
Slanier immediately pushed Hassil. He leaned him against the wall and handcuffed him.
Hasil is struggling to get out of Slanier's grip. "What the fuck?!"
The child ran to Dhamia. She hugged Dhamia.
Slanier and Dhamia bring Hassil to the police station. He will be under interrogation by the terror police officer.
The child admitted to Slanier and Dhamia that her own father was hurting her. And there is a time when he touches her on the lower part of her body.
And while touching her, she said that there was a white l*quid coming out of her father's p*nis.
Slanier felt sorry for the girl as she cried. He couldn't imagine the hardship the child had gone through.
Dhamia stopped Slanier from walking. "Where are you going?"
Slanier went to the interrogation room. He punched Hassil many times. He was about to point a gun at him, but Dhamia stopped him.
"Slanier, stop. I never saw you angry like that. I know that the devil deserves a punch and to be killed. But let the law decide for him."
"Don't worry, I will make sure that his sentence will be life imprisonment. Not just him but the people who rape, harass, and abuse other people. Trust me," She added.
There were eyes that were happy as they watched Slanier in anger.
