Chapter 36 - Family Reunion Again (2)

"My son, as handsome as always," Celestina exclaimed, engulfing Diaz in a warm, motherly embrace. Her ample bosom pressed against his face, momentarily robbing him of breath.

There was an unmistakable envy in Arthur's gaze as he observed the reunion. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of insecurity as he looked at his son, who had become the center of attention and admiration.

Elsa, on the other hand, watched Diaz warily, her brows furrowed with suspicion. There was a complex mix of emotions swirling within her. When Diaz had disappeared, Elsa had been consumed by a deep sense of despair. She had secretly used her exceptional powers to try and track her missing brother, her heart aching with worry. Night after night, she had cried herself to sleep, unable to accept that her beloved sibling was gone.

Now, seeing him return home with a stranger on his arm had ignited a sudden surge of jealousy within Elsa. She couldn't fathom why Diaz would bring a companion along after such a long absence. Her feelings were a chaotic blend of relief at his return and resentment at his perceived indifference.

As the family gathered in the living room, the atmosphere was charged with unspoken tension. Diaz's unexpected reappearance had stirred up a whirlwind of emotions, and it was clear that this reunion would be far from ordinary.

As Celestina reluctantly released her son from her tight embrace, Diaz playfully protested, "Mom, you're squeezing the life out of me."

Celestina chuckled, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "You've grown into quite the rebel, my baby boy. It feels like you became a teenager overnight."

Arthur couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. He had missed out on so much during Diaz's absence, and now it seemed like he was losing the spotlight to his own son. With a hint of irritation, he chimed in, "I suppose I deserve a hug too, don't I?"

As Celestina fiercely defended her son, she roared at Arthur, "Get lost!"

Arthur's heart sank. He felt like a mere outsider in his own family, his position as the head of the household usurped by his son. It was a painful realization, and he couldn't help but wonder why this was happening.

"Hi, Big sis, I miss you"

Diaz tried to strike up a conversation with his big sister, Elsa. There was an undeniable feeling of unease in his heart. How could the predecessor have a feeling with her, It is a legendary inc*st story?, and with this spoiled brat? It was absurd, or so he thought.

Elsa, on the other hand, looked at Diaz with bewilderment. The brother she once knew was warm and kind, but after Yunita, that woman, came into his life, he had changed. Diaz was always with Yunita during their time at the academy, and it had taken a toll on their relationship. When Diaz He was no longer the playful and kind-hearted older brother to Elsa. Instead, he had become consumed by Yunita's presence. His focus shifted entirely to her, and it seemed as though he had little time or patience for anyone else.

Diaz 's conversations with Yunita were often hushed, intense, and filled with secrecy. They would exchange whispers, their heads close together, deep in conversation that excluded anyone else around them. His eyes, once filled with warmth and humor when talking to his family, now held a distant, almost haunted look.

Elsa couldn't help but feel that she had lost her brother to this new relationship. The bond they had once shared seemed to wither away in the shadow of Yunita, and the coldness in Arthur's demeanor only grew more pronounced.

"Do you even remember how to treat your sister?" Elsa teased, crossing her arms in front of her chest. There was a small smile playing on her lips, despite her earlier frown. "And you know arthur, yunita, your beloved girlfriend has a new boyfriend, in fact she got her new boyfriend just 1 month after you disappear" Elsa smirk but fell relief because that woman is a bad influence to Diaz, but he worried that Diaz will become stressed, you know how much diaz loves yunita.

But to her suprissed

"Oh, Ok, so be it". Diaz say calmy

Diaz's response to the news about Yunita having a new boyfriend left Arthur, Celestina, and Elsa utterly shocked. Given Diaz's deep and enduring love for Yunita, they had expected a very different reaction. Instead, Diaz's calm acceptance took them by surprise.

In the wake of their astonishment, Diaz's nonchalant demeanor in this situation began to make more sense to Arthur. It seemed Diaz was not as emotionally attached to Yunita as they had initially thought.

Elsa couldn't help but quip about Yunita's new relationship, even though she felt relieved that the woman who had been a bad influence on Diaz was out of his life. However, she also worried that Diaz might be hiding his true feelings and that this nonchalance was just a façade.

Diaz's response to Arthur's playful comment further raised eyebrows. He seemed to embrace a carefree attitude, suggesting that there were plenty of beautiful women out there for him to meet. Arthur, in agreement with this approach, extended an invitation to Diaz to join him in some social activities, seemingly endorsing the idea that a man should enjoy the company of many women.

This exchange left Arthur with a sharp gaze from Celestina and Elsa, who clearly did not share his lighthearted view on relationships. It appeared that the men in their lives had quite different perspectives when it came to love and romance

"And you know what, I bring a new one, well its my future harem" cough cough diaz say, he bring helena, A daughter of tual kingdom to his family..

As Diaz proudly introduced Helena, a daughter of the Tual Kingdom, to his family, a sudden shift in the atmosphere was palpable. While Diaz seemed to revel in the playful idea of his "future harem," the room grew tense. It wasn't Diaz who emitted the dark aura but rather Elsa, his big sister, who had displayed a momentary surge of intense energy. However, she quickly concealed it behind a sweet smile as she welcomed Helena.

This enigmatic surge of energy did not go unnoticed by Celestina and Arthur, Diaz's parents. They were well aware of their daughter Elsa's formidable powers, but even they struggled to comprehend the full extent of her strength. Her mastery over her emotions allowed her to project an aura of serene composure, masking any inner turmoil.

"As expected of my son, to bring daughter in law, eventhough you already has a fiancé". Celestina admires his son

"Wait, he has a fiancée? Why didn't I know about this?" Arthur inquired, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

What kind of bulls*it is it and why he Doesn't know anything there goes the same way for Arthur and Elsa

Celestina chimed in, "You've always been so focused on your training, Arthur. It's no wonder you weren't aware of these family matters, My brother make a vow before that he want his daughter to be married of with my son and I agreed"

The mention of a vow triggered a flood of memories for Celestina. She couldn't help but reminisce about the bond she shared with her beloved brother, Prince Hans. He had always been there for her, especially during the pivotal moments of her life. Celestina vividly remembered the day when Hans had dueled with the mighty Dragon Emperor, risking life and reputation, all to prevent her from entering into a political marriage that her heart had never consented to. It was a testament to the unbreakable brother-sister bond they shared.

Hans had been a pillar of support during one of the most challenging periods of Celestina's life. When she had run away from the marriage arranged by their father, he had stepped in as her protector. For an entire decade, he had ensured her safety and kept her hidden from their father's relentless pursuit. Celestina couldn't help but admire the unwavering dedication her brother had displayed throughout the years.

The memories brought a bittersweet smile to Celestina's lips. It was clear to her now that the engagement of her son, Diaz, to Princess Laila was not merely a casual affair. It was intricately woven into a tapestry of family traditions, obligations, and promises that had endured for generations. The realization filled her with a deep sense of pride and gratitude for the strong bonds that tied their family together.

This revelation shed light on the intricate connections and vows within their family. Diaz's engagement to Helena was rooted in deep-seated traditions and familial commitments that spanned generations.
