Chapter 18 - Set In Motion Plan (1)

Diaz POV

The plan is completely success an in motion. It was clear in my mind. Make the world believe that their focus should be on Veridora, the land of the World Stone, to distract them from the truth about my disappearance years ago. The Obsidian Order's interest in the World Stone was the key, and I was determined to uncover their motives.

As I stood there, pondering my next move, I couldn't help but curse my predecessor, Ex-Diaz. The lack of useful information he left me with was frustrating beyond measure. 'You hear me, Ex-Diaz? You've left me in the dark,' I muttered under my breath, my frustration bubbling to the surface.

My thoughts shifted to my next move – escalating the situation for my benefit. Veridora, seemed like a prime target. However, I needed them to suffer first. Veridora, as the tale itself, has a strong powerful army, that's won't do. As an ex-underground boss and qualified villain, I knew how to make a country's pain go a long way.

Let me guess what will they do next

Tual Kingdom would be my instrument of chaos. While not the strongest, Tual Kingdom controlled the continent's economy. Even the key members of the world government hailed from there. Breaking their grip on power would be both satisfying and intriguing.

I smirked as I played out the scenarios in my mind. Tual Kingdom would conduct a thorough investigation into the incidents, and I had already ensured that evidence pointed to Veridora. My little gargantua was on the route to Veridora, to do a mission, make a mess and leaving destruction in its wake. Of course, I had tweaked its appearance to not keep the trail away back to Polimex.

When the investigations concluded, Tual Kingdom will ask veridora to sent their saint, the culpit, and they also would initiate an economic embargo, worsening Veridora's suffering. And then, oh, the masterpiece: a long-term plan that would drive both countries into a war. The thought of it made me chuckle darkly.

Veridora wouldn't sit idle either. They'd investigate and demand the Explanation But I had countermeasures ready. I'd planted the seeds of discord well. 'Well what's about kidnaping the saint?' Diaz wondered.

Back in the conversation

Seraphina's voice brought me back to reality. "We need to investigate this further," she suggested. Hearing this, Diaz smirk 'here is it'

"Why bother?" James retorted. "Let's make them suffer, show them our country can't be bullied."

Seraphina persisted, "No, we need more evidence."

"What evidence?" James was growing impatient. "The ambush, the attempts to instigate a war with Polimex, the kidnapping of the hero's son, and the assassination plot involving our daughter."

Seraphina's confusion mirrored what I sensed from her emotions. She felt there was more to the story.

"But" Seraphina hesitated

"Stop it, Seraphina. That's an order. I'll request an audience with our kingdom," James asserted.

"Wait, Dad," Helena interjected, her voice filled with rage. "We should send a letter first and consider economic sanctions before jumping into war."

"That's my girl," James praised her.

Then there are some silent moment, While James and Seraphina thinking about the plan

"Dad, when are you going to pick me up?" Helena suddenly asked, her tone changing abruptly.

"I'll send you a stronger guardian than Indah," James replied nonchalantly.

"That's not what I asked!" Helena's frustration was palpable, her emotions a mix of confusion and anger.

"Just stay in Polimex. I'll have Celestina take care of you," Seraphina reassured Helena.

The shock on Helena's face was evident. Her parents were kicking her out? Tears welled up in her eyes as she cried out, "Dad, you're really evil! Leaving an innocent woman in the lion's den! Look at Diaz's family – they're all crazy!"

From what Helena learn about Diaz family From Aura, this the summary:

Diaz dad is narcissist bastard and shameless human, his mother is like a dragon mom, a greedy one, she keep collecting strange things, his sister is also possessive maniac, She continued her rant, describing Diaz's Family

Diaz couldn't help but find some amusement in Helena's outburst. She was indeed Correct, and I recalled something about my family through the memory, 'Ex-Diaz loved his family huh, He doesn't erase this, maybe to make me have a feeling to them?'

in my memory, Ah, the Diaz family. A collection of characters that could rival any comedy troupe. You see, my dear old dad, the self-proclaimed king of narcissism, had an ego the size of a mountain. It's like he woke up every morning and thought, "How can I outshine the sun today?" His reflection probably had its own fan club.

And then there's my lovely mother, the dragon mom. No, not because she's fiery and fearsome, but because she hoarded things like a dragon hoards treasure. I remember one time she tried to fit a life-sized stuffed elephant into our living room. It was a sight to behold - a majestic beast in a suburban abode. I guess her motto was "Go big or go home...with oversized furniture."

My dear sister—a possessive maniac with a touch of "siscon," or sister complex. Yep, you read that right. She had this uncanny attachment to me that went beyond the normal sibling bond. If I had a dime for every time she followed me around like a shadow, I'd probably have enough to buy my own private island and escape her clingy antics.

I couldn't even have a private conversation with someone without her popping up like a Jack-in-the-box, eager to be part of whatever was happening. She'd give me the classic puppy-dog eyes whenever I tried to escape, as if I was abandoning her to a lifetime of solitude. It was like having a personal satellite that tracked my every move.

And family outings? Oh boy, those were a whole new level of crazy. If I dared to talk to another girl—friend, classmate, whoever—I could practically see the steam coming out of her ears. She'd try to play it cool, but her glare said it all: "Back off, he's mine!". especially when this boy like Yunita, well,.. 'That's a story for another time'. Diaz Sighed

As I listened to the chaos of emotions around me, I knew I had to stay a step ahead. My plan was set in motion, a symphony of manipulation and intrigue. The pieces were moving, and I was ready to play the game, even if it meant embracing the role of the manipulator once more.
