Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 70 - Tinser and Cias Face Off
A middle aged announcer went up to his table, a camera operator said ,"3 2" and then mouthed '1'. ,"We come with breaking news today, the four people who have been identified as the four kings of old have started moving. Get as far away from their locations as you can, you have been notified that you could die, so take caution and do NOT go near them." This message rang through all pieces of tech throughout the world. Apollo put down his phone ,"I think it's time for me to go." He went into the room that his mom slept in, smiled and whispered ,"I love you mom," he then went into his little sister's room and sarcastically whispered ,"Bye, you asshole."
He met up with Noah, Cias and Devan in the middle of an intersection. ,"You guys ready?" Apollo started ,"As ready as I'll ever be," Cias replied. Noah interjected ,"I'm excited!!!" ,"We know, wack as mofo," Devan said, questioning Noah's state of mind. They all chuckled at each other, Apollo reached out his hand in a fist. The others did the same and then walked their separate ways.
… Cias dashed as fast as he could and reached the north pole in less than a second. A palace of ice lay before him, shiny and unyielding. A frost rushed over him, his breathing even felt cold. He sensed an extremely strong presence inside the castle. (This must be that next level of power that Hiroto was talking about, feels even stronger than I am) Cias looked around as he slowly approached the entrance, his heart making quick palpitations THUMP THUMP. Upon entering he saw an intricate interior ,"What is this place," ," 'This place' would be my castle from time long passed, obviously it had been eroded over since then. Looks great, doesn't it." A man with pale, white skin and contrasting black hair started to walk down the staircase to his entrance room.
He scratched at his severely scarred skin. He was skinny but muscularly dense and lanky. ,"Oh you must be wondering why my skin is so scarred, I was cursed. My skin incessantly itches, and it seems scratching it off is the only way to alleviate this pain. You could say I'm literally tearing myself apart, for my own sanity. The cold also helps, that's why I live up here." ,"Why do you want to fight me?" ,"I was ordered to," ,"By whom?" ,"I don't remember, but the fear my soul tells me I had reminds me to not disobey," (What the hell does that mean?).
,"I think I've had enough of this talking," Tinser reached his hand out and commanded his scythe to his hand with Telekinesis. A wave of chills filled the air. Tinser's scythe blade was double sided and had a blade on each side of the hand, one was longer than the other. In addition, it had 2 extra handles for easier maneuverability sticking out from the handle holding the blades. Cias had his spear in hand, he faced the head of it towards Tinser. Tinser disappeared and reappeared right in front of Cias. Cias parried the blow (Holy shit, he's fast).
Tinser striked from above BAM, to Cias's side BOOM and then his neck BOOM. Cias's Manoeuvrability and technique allowed him to block the oncoming blows, but landing one of his own was a problem. His opponent had just as much if not more versatility and that's not talking about Tinser's speed and power. It wasn't helping Cias in the slightest. Each attack felt like someone was hitting his arms with a metal pipe. His stance most of all was his saving factor, if he wavered for a moment he would be dead. (I need to activate full power now!!!) FWOOOSH BWOOMP A golden radiant glow flowed from Cias, He activated the Arts: Imbue, Telekinesis, Reinforce, and Memory Amplification.
,"Oh, so we're doing that now," BWOOMFP KABOOM, Tinser released his icy blue aura. Cias felt like he was going to fly away (HE'S SO STRONG). Just his aura alone gave Cias reason to run, but he wouldn't, he wouldn't back down after training this hard. ,"COME AT ME YOU STUPID ASS KING!!!" ,"As you wish, child."
