Chapter 35 - She Can Keep the Audience

Tang Qiao shifted the focus away from lullabies and onto the main topic for the day. "Today, we're diving into the world of hair care. Originally, I had planned to discuss personalized hair growth strategies based on your situations. However, due to my recent busy schedule, I couldn't prepare that content, so we'll be delving into hair care instead."

There was a momentary pause in the comments section.

"Hair growth to hair care? Quite the shift!"

"I don't even have hair; how am I supposed to care for it?"

"Do I lack hair care? No, what I lack is hair!"

Amid the audience's playful complaints, Tang Qiao continued with a calm smile. "We'll reserve the hair growth discussion for next time. Today, let's focus on effective hair care. Hair may not be an organ like your heart or liver, but it contains cells that require proper care..."

Tang Qiao spoke eloquently.

The audience fell silent. Well, they had chosen this streamer themselves, and they were determined to listen till the end, even if it made them cry!

Tang Qiao provided a simplified and easily digestible overview of the scientific concepts. Initially, some viewers were skeptical, but as she delved into her explanations, they found themselves increasingly engrossed.

As the livestream neared its end, Tang Qiao wrapped up her discussion, and the viewers started to turn their attention elsewhere.

"Oh, my God! I can't believe I listened to this!"

"Not only did I listen, but I also wanted to hear more!"

"The bald girl is wondering if you'll talk about hair growth next week!"

Tang Qiao caught wind of these comments and contemplated for a moment before announcing, "Next week's topic will be all about hair growth tips. Alright, that's a wrap for today's livestream. See you next Saturday!"

With that, the live stream concluded, leaving the viewers eagerly anticipating the next week's session.

In the backstage of the Ordinary Streaming, Xu Guangyi, who had been monitoring Tang Qiao's live stream, nodded in satisfaction. Despite the absence of the lullaby, Tang Qiao's delivery was consistently engaging. She managed to transform seemingly mundane scientific knowledge into something intriguing.

Secretary Li was also impressed by Tang Qiao's performance that day. "She can hold her audience's attention. Without the lullaby, many viewers stayed tuned in for the science content, which is quite remarkable."

"QiaoYou's commercial potential might be even greater than we initially estimated," Xu Guangyi remarked.

"But no matter how valuable she is, she's not part of our team." Secretary Li blinked.

Xu Guangyi was left momentarily speechless.

Just as he was contemplating this, a staff member rushed over. "Manager Xu! QiaoYou has responded!"

"Really?" Xu Guangyi's excitement was palpable.

Without waiting for the staff member to elaborate, Xu Guangyi hurried backstage to check his messages. He discovered three new replies in the chat box with QiaoYou. After examining them closely, his joy became even more evident.

"Manager Xu, did QiaoYou agree?"

"QiaoYou is in the neighboring city," Xu Guangyi observed the replies and sent a response of his own before exiting the backstage area. He declared with enthusiasm, "Get ready; we're meeting QiaoYou tomorrow! Anything can be discussed once we meet her!"

On Sunday, the early morning rain fell gently upon Feng City. The delicate droplets moistened the blossoming trees along the roadside. They gathered on the leaves, trembling briefly before rolling down to the ground, and disappearing into the soil.

Tang Qiao strolled through the rain, her umbrella shielding her from the drizzle as the dress she wore swayed gently in the breeze.

Inside the teahouse, a receptionist dressed in a cheongsam graciously guided Tang Qiao to a private tea room. "Miss Tang, please come in."

Inside the tearoom, upon hearing the sound, Xu Guangyi, who was seated, stood up and looked toward the door with a faint smile.

Tang Qiao wore an ink-printed dress adorned with blue and white flowers that gracefully trailed down her waist. The hem of her dress swayed delicately, lending her an air of slender elegance.

Xu Guangyi was momentarily taken aback.

"Sorry, I'm late," Tang Qiao apologized.

Xu Guangyi quickly regained his composure. "It's not too late; in fact, I arrived early."

Tang Qiao smiled, her bright and captivating eyes adding to her allure.

Xu Guangyi's composed demeanor was now rattled. He couldn't help but seek confirmation, "Are you... QiaoYou?"

"Yes," affirmed Tang Qiao.

Secretary Li's eyes widened in astonishment, and even the legal department's lawyer was left in a daze. The woman's beauty surpassed that of the company's top anchors. Secretary Li was particularly bewildered. With such striking looks, she has chosen to be a knowledgeable streamer. It feels like an extraordinary talent going to waste!

In a mere instant, countless thoughts raced through Xu Guangyi's mind.

"My real name is Tang Qiao," she continued, turning to introduce a woman in a gray suit behind her. "This is my lawyer, Miss Jiang Yan." She had enlisted the assistance of Jiang Yan from Feng City Law Firm earlier in the day.
