"You can have a good time tonight; go out and stroll with Cavin if you like. Two of my guards will accompany you, though I doubt you'd want to escape," Rosalie said with a playful smile as she lowered a hot bowl of soup in front of me while I massaged my aching feet. "They're quite skilled, but don't worry, they won't interfere with your fun. Consider it an added layer of protection, just in case."
"I'll pass. I think I'll just practice more when we get home." I answered politely for the first time, declining Rosalie's offer. "Besides, I could use some rest after today's training session."
I gave her a grateful smile and took a sip of the warm soup, feeling the soothing heat spread through my body. Rosalie nodded understandingly and took a seat across from me, her eyes filled with a mix of concern and admiration. "You've been working so hard; it's no wonder you're exhausted," she remarked, her voice laced with genuine concern.
