"Qingyu. What's going on?" Liu Wei asked in a hushed whisper, after dragging Yu Qingyu away from the rest. He could tell right away from his boyfriend's expression that something was wrong, so he immediately took him somewhere far away where even other vampires wouldn't hear them.
Yu Qingyu bit on his lip. "Well… I've been summoned to Castle Lacroix."
"Castle Lacroix?" Liu Wei arched his brow.
"Ah, right. I guess I haven't told you about it yet?" Yu Qingyu realized all of a sudden.
Despite all the time they spent together, and all the conversations that they had, somehow Yu Qingyu still didn't find time to explain to Liu Wei the situation in the duchy in detail. Of course, it wasn't that he didn't trust the man or anything along these lines. Hugo Seguin simply made such an unpleasant impression on him that he instantly erased the vampire from his mind, and he never crossed his mind again, when Yu Qingyu was preoccupied with much happier thoughts.
