Yu Qingyu slept for a few hours, getting up just in time for lunch. As he entered the dining room, he was immediately greeted by a tense and grave atmosphere. The room was also much emptier than usual, as a few of the envoys decided not to show up.

Among those that did, however, was Viscount Noshak. And his mission of the day seemed to be to make everyone even more uncomfortable. He was complaining loudly, and ordering the servants to test every single dish for poison, scolding and mistreating them. He even asked to have his plate, cup, and cutlery switched with the members of Cellion's royal family, just to ensure there was no poison smeared on them!

Yu Qingyu barely managed to hold himself back from rolling his eyes. Of course, the guilty shouts the loudest.
