"Wei- Lord Felix!" Yu Qingyu called out, watching with terror as the bear ripped his boyfriend's chest, knocking him off the horse.
With a smooth move, he pulled out an arrow from the quiver, and aimed at the bear. He shot it, and immediately reached for another one. He shot arrow after arrow without thinking, until finally, he broke his bow from pulling it too much - his strength as a vampire was far superior to that of a human, after all.
The bear was already dead at this point - Yu Qingyu's shots were powerful and precise. Not that Yu Qingyu cared. Ignoring the bear, he tossed the broken bow aside, jumped off the horse, and rushed to Liu Wei's side.
"Lord Felix! Are you alright?"
"Ugh…" Liu Wei struggled to lift himself up, supporting himself on his elbow. He was quite lucky - the forest ground was covered in leaves and moss, which cushioned his fall, but… his whole body still hurt. Not to mention the wounds on his chest…
