The evening air in the forest just outside the capital was cold, clearly indicating that the summer had already ended. The feeling was further intensified by the light drizzle, which, although seemingly too insignificant to require shielding from with an umbrella, quickly dampened the skin and the clothes. Ladies, walking back from the banquet in their flimsy dresses, were shivering in the chilly breeze, and even some men were uncomfortable, although they wouldn't let it show. Still, despite the not the most pleasant weather, everyone was in a joyous mood.
The grand opening of the Royal Hunt was a success. The following day, the hunting tournament would finally commence.
