Around an hour later, once Yu Qingyu recharged himself with his much-needed daily dose of 'time alone with Liu Wei', the two men headed downstairs, to join Zan Fanteng, as Yu Qingyu said they would.
When they arrived, Zan Fanteng was in the hallway, trying to talk to the ghost crying in the corner by the window. Or rather, to the pieces of the ghost… Because his ghostly form had fallen apart, and all that remained were dismembered body parts scattered around the floor. His eyes were staring blankly into the distance, tears mixed with blood pooling around his head. And, unsurprisingly, he was not responding, no matter what Zan Fanteng said.
Noticing Yu Qingyu's arrival, the man got up from the crouching position. "You're here. Ready to-"
The words died in Zan Fanteng's mouth, as his eyes fell on the ghost behind him, that is Liu Wei. Dumbfounded, he rubbed his eyes, confident that it was just a hallucination…
