Chapter 13 - Dark god corps final part

I looked at Donald "Would you like to start now IF you need time to reclaim yourself we can always do it tomorrow, however. I'm sure you know I don't like wasting time."

He looked at me with a confused expression. "If I was here to complain and waste time I would have walked out earlier tell me my lord how will we begin"

I smiled at his comment and his words they conveyed exactly what he wanted to say and I knew it from my instinct.

"We'll begin now then I hope you won't die and will continue to trust me and prosper in this prolific training." I smiled and said with a smirk.

"Just don't die and just think"

"What do you mean-"

He was slowly covered in darkness. His bright colored clothes were now pitch black his hair a pitch black. It was like staring into an egg although it was pitch black. It looked like an empty void. I spoke to myself as I looked at this sight. "I hope you don't lose yourself my shield" I bowed down and prayed to myself to give him strength. "May your faith in me guide you past death and become your true self. Bless the life and death you were given by me and let it become your true self along with the strength to persist on."

Elinor in full goddess uniform came walking in. Inproching on this silent conversation and hid herself and continued to listen.

I looked at the dark void and made a tomb with beautiful banners of my new corp flapping in the wind with one specifically dedicated to Donald at the front. It held a shield it was neither covered in light nor dark it was made out of iron that shined like the moonlight. The dark corps banners were far away but still visible. My image was perfectly engrained in them in the form of a dark prince made of skeleton bones. I bowed one more time out of respect and left with a face saying again. "Don't forget yourself"

I teleported away to recruit more people who were more than eligible to join as regular members.

(Elinor pov)

I stood there after witnessing that display. It was beautiful and even though it was only a little bit the passion even reached me. It also made me mad. I finished with my meeting and got some people for my corp but how? HOW? HOW? How does he do everything so perfectly he's never cared about anything at all. The way he targets things and makes things so perfect. I'm the goddess and a leader but it seems like he's more fit for everything than me. I'm always in the shadow waiting for him to pick up my pieces.

It made me remember this morning with the people he had to step in and quiet them down why couldn't I've done that if only I was better and more resilient? I looked at what I was dressed in and I questioned myself is this what I want to be at all?

Before I knew it I was woken up by the same person I was just thinking about other than myself Matthew

"So you were here"

"Ya. I'm here"

"I've been looking for you for a while I've recruited some poeple no one has been good enough though so just basic rank"

I looked at him and I didn't comprehend his words at all I looked at him seriously locked in torment  "How are you so good at everything"

He looked at me with a smile "You know I'm not Elinor. You know very well that I'm not what brings you to this"

I looked at him. "You know I can tell a lie right' I say quietly before getting louder, "You are though. You've brought me to this place and set the stage for me and I messed up the first thing I've done. A speech."

He continued to look at me with a dumb smile before it changed to a smirk, "So you doubt yourself, my goddess. If you need a reason to push on and do things I can well keep on setting the stage for you endlessly but I know that you have the right intellect to lead the poeple and political structure. To lead yourself down the right path and develop a force capable of anything. I'm good at some things like politics and military strategy not much. Better with small groups however you are better with larger groups"

I loved and hated how right he was but my thought was interrupted with

"But if you don't care what your strengths are I can always change things". He walked away with a demonic smile.

This made me want to hit him so hard and I did but it was blocked by his fist and he dragged me into his body before grabbing my waist. My face turned red as this was unexpected and his boldness was mesmerizing.

"Looks like you tripped darling. I assume you don't want me to change anything so do what you do best. My Goddess"

And like that, he was gone and I was stuck in one place red.

(Matthew pov)

I appeared in an arena watching two people fight each using their skills sloppy and unpolished it was like watching two babies fight. That was when Grundal walked in and sat next to me. He looked at me and I spoke first pouring some water.

"Sorry for leaving you like that. Is there anything you need help with"

"At the moment I'm fine but I need a couple of things in order to set up banks and merchant guilds. Right now also seems like a perfect time to do that in the outer world so I would like these things as soon as you can get them."

"straight to the point aren't you? Why don't you relax?"

He looked at me and rolled his eyes. "Say's the person working himself to the bone every second I see him. Don't say you are relaxing your doing the work of 5 poeple while only being yourself."

"Fine FIne I'm a workaholic and you made your point valid what do you need?"
