I did nothing but sit there and stare back at Storm as he continued to look at me.
His untamed hair and the sultry glow into which his gaze drifted affected me, and I was affected by each of them until he reclined and moved away from the piano by a noticeable amount. I asked him a question, but he didn't respond, and for some reason I simply couldn't bring myself to ask it again. I had a desire to escape both him and myself. I had my doubts.
Instead, I remarked, "I didn't know that you played so well," as I reached up to rub the side of my arm. Storm's eyes lost their brilliance, and he exhaled as he ran his hands through his hair and pulled it back. "You're excellent,"
When he pressed his palms together, Storm nodded. I didn't know what else to do but uncomfortably stare at him.
Storm rose up, arranged his clothes, and asked abruptly, "How did you find my private library?"
