Descending from the academic building, Bairon failed to spot Barbara, much to his relief.
Ever since their unexpected encounter, Bairon felt disoriented, unsure how to face her.
While Barbara never mentioned any intention to "take responsibility" or the like, her demeanor towards Bairon hadn't warmed either.
"Mr. Oswald..."
"You don't need to be so formal. You can call me Kubo if you like," Kubo interjected.
Feeling it might be a bit impolite to address him so informally, Bairon skipped the title altogether, "Do you know how to write a reflection report?"
"Of course," Kubo replied, "When we get back, I'll give you a few model essays. Just tweak them a bit, and you'll be fine."
"Would using a template be against the rules?" Bairon hesitated.
Kubo explained, "Those are cherished pieces left by previous students and have consistently received praise from the disciplinary committee. It would be a shame not to pass them on."
