As much as Victoria fumed and wished Olivia dead, she still had to provide a room for them.
Azriel gently led Olivia to the room that Victoria had "graciously" offered them in her palace.
The room was adorned with elegant furnishings, casting a sense of comfort at least. As Olivia's tears continued to stream down her face, Azriel wrapped his arms around her.
"Olivia," He whispered softly, his voice filled with lots of compassion. "I know it's a difficult time for you, but we won't stop until we find your sister. I promise you, we'll do everything to bring her back safely."
Olivia clung onto him, her sobs gradually subsiding as she found solace in his embrace. "But," she choked out between sniffles, "what if something terrible has happened to her? What if she's lost forever in that forest? I know what i went through there"
The memories flooded back, and the most painful was the part of Lorelei always suffering by following them.
