Nicholas's fingers tightened around his wife's fingers as he glared at his cousin. "What are you doing here?"
"Hmm?" Asher leaned over and looked at the man with a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Can't I go on a vacation?"
"Not when I'm going with my wife." Nicholas wanted to make it clear from his words that Abigail was off limits despite the fact that he wasn't even the least bit interested in touching her.
"I thought you were going to finalize a deal that might take more than half of your day." Asher looked at the young woman beside him worriedly, "She might get bored during the trip, won't she? So I'm here to keep her company and see to it that she's entirely safe and sound."
"Don't you have a company to handle?" Nicholas's voice was so cold that it dripped with anger. His eyes looked like they would kill his cousin sitting on the other side.
