THIS LIFE!
I was pressing my phone this morning while sitted in a tricycle taking me to my destination.
I was so engrossed and didn't notice the man who joined. I looked up to see a very dirty man with sand all over his body.
I wasn't really interested until I saw that he was dressed up in a corporate outfit. Wondering what could have happened to him, the driver told him to shift a little as his dirty body was touching him.
Suddenly this man started weeping profusely.
We were all watching with kin interest. He said "I'm a graduate with a very good job. I have my personal business and doing very well for myself.
I'm married to a very beautiful wife with three kids. I don't know how I usually find myself at the bar drinking to stupor. I will drink till they send me out of the bar. Most times I sleep outside.
My wife has now stopped worrying about me ever since I slept on the street and my car was stolen.
Now I just go to work using public bus, close then resume to bar and if lucky I go back late to my house, if not I sleep outside.
My wife is tired and I know she's losing it already. She has prayed, fasted and done all sort of spiritual stuffs. Family members have deserted me, I have only my wife.
I just wish I can see smile on her face again. 😭
Instead I keep hearing voice that tells me to stand and go to bar to drink myself to stupor.
You needed to see all of us in the tricycle. We couldn't help but got emotional. What a world we live in! Evil everywhere 😞
