Tomus dropped me off at my house. "Call me when you're ready for the party," Tomus said. "Okay," I said as I opened my door to go change for the party. I went upstairs to my room to find something to wear. I looked through my closet. As I was looking I found one of the dresses that I got with my mom for my birthday.
I grabbed the black dress and went to the bathroom to put it on. I looked into the mirror to see how I looked in the dress. I thought that I looked pretty good in it. It was slim which was perfect for my figure and it ended at my thighs. I started to work on my hair and then after that I decided to put some makeup on. After that I went out of the bathroom and back to my closet to find heels to match the dress.
I found a pair of heels and put them on. I grabbed my phone to call Tomus. "Hey I'm ready," I said, talking to Tomus on the phone. "Okay I'll be there in five minutes," he said. I ended the call and took a deep breath. I grabbed a black jacket and went outside waiting for Tomus to pick me up. Tomus showed up and got out of the car. I went towards him to get in the car.
I stopped moving because I noticed Tomus was staring at me. "Are you good?" I asked him. "Um y-yeah, it's just I have never seen you in a dress before and you look incredible," Tomus said nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "Thank you," I said, chuckling because how nervous he was. Tomus opened the passenger side door for me and closed once I got in. I buckled my seatbelt and Tomus got in the driver's seat then buckled up. After that we drove off to the party.
I was looking through the car window. I was excited about going to the party, but I was also nervous because I have never worn something like this before at a party. I started to think about Zayn. I was wondering why he was in a rush, and who he went to see the other night.
I got out of my thoughts when I realized that we arrived at Henry's house. Tomus got out of the car first and went to the passenger side to open the door for me. He held his hand out for me to grab. I grabbed his hand to get out of the car. I felt really nervous. Tomus turned to me and noticed that I was still holding his hand. "Are you okay?" he asked worriedly.
"Yeah, just a bit nervous," I said looking at the house hearing the music outside coming from inside. "Come on," Tomus said, pulling me towards the house. When we entered the house there were a lot of people. Some people had a drink in their hands. There were some that were dancing and having fun enjoying themselves. Also some were making out with each other.
I took a seat the bar area was at. Tomus sat right next to me. I took off my jacket and placed it on my lap since I was getting a bit warm. "Glad that you two came," I turned to see Henry behind us smiling. Henry sat on the other side of me. "So what do you think about the party so far?" Henry asked. "The party is great," Tomus said while I nodded in agreement. Henry smiled at the both of us. He seemed to be really happy.
"I'm going to talk to some people," Tomus said, leaving into the crowd. "You look breathtaking," Henry said. I turned to look at him. "T-thank you," I shuttered. "You're usually tough, why are you acting so shy all of a sudden?" he asked. "I'm just insecure about my body because I've never worn anything like this before," I said looking down.
"Hey don't feel insecure about yourself. You're just not used to wearing stuff like that because you usually wear baggy clothes, but when more stuff like this you'll get used to it and you won't be insecure about your body," he said with a smile. I smiled back at him feeling a little better.
Henry brought the bartender's attention and asked the man for two beers. The bartender handed Henry two beer bottles. He handed me one and I took it from him, opening it and taking a sip. "How come Zayn isn't here since you are?" Henry asked, looking at me drinking his beer. "Oh, Zayn told me that he wouldn't be here for some days because he's going to be busy. He didn't say how long he was going to be gone for though," I said.
It was silent for a bit, it wasn't awkward. We both have finished our beers. "Want another beer?" Henry asked. "No, I want something stronger," I said. "Okay, can we have something stronger please?" he asked the bartender with a bright smile. "Yes sir," the bartender said and worked on the drink for us. The bartender gave Henry and I the drink. It was a bluish green color. I saw Henry taking a sip of his drink.
I took a look at my drink and brought it up to my lips to drink it. Once a drop touched my tongue I was shocked because of how good it was. I finished the drink and asked the bartender for another one. "Wow, you finished that quick," Henry said. The bartender handed me another one. I thanked him, and then I drank the drink. I grabbed Henry by his arm. "Let's go dance," I said, smiling at him. Henry smiled back at me.
I pulled Henry through the crowd of people on the dance floor. I started dancing to the music. I felt so happy and felt so free. I noticed that Henry was staring at me and not dancing. "I'm glad to see you in a good mood," Henry said, smiling with his hand out. I grabbed his hand and we both started dancing. I was having a great time.
