Chapter 3 - In the club

"Thank goodness I went shopping today" Katelyn muttered to herself and rushed to her room to get started. 7pm she hit the road to Carissa's house on arriving she met Carissa by her door way

"Come on bitch let's go!" Katelyn said beaming with smile

"What took you so long?" Carissa asked playfully walking into her car and they drove off to "Celebrities Choice Club" which took about thirty minutes drive to arrive.

At the far end of the club in the VIP section sat a man dressed in a luxury black vintage shirt and a pair of black plain trouser sat fiddling with his phone not minding the people around him, on raising his head to sip from his whiskey wine someone caught his attention and he smiled inwardly.

Meanwhile, Katelyn and Carissa entered the club, greeted by the pulsating beats of music and an energetic crowd on the dancefloor. The air was filled with a mix of excitement, laughter, and the sound of clinking glasses.

They made their way to the bar and ordered their favorite cocktails, laughing and chatting about their week as they waited for their drinks. Katelyn couldn't help but notice the mysterious man sitting in the VIP section. There was something about his presence that intrigued her.

As the night went on, they joined the lively dancefloor, moving to the rhythm of the music and letting loose. Katelyn couldn't help but feel grateful for her spontaneous decision to go clubbing. It was exactly what she needed to break the monotony of being home alone.

Stuart continued to steal glances at the captivating woman from across the room, his curiosity piqued. There was something about her that intrigued him, an air of mystery that drew him in. He couldn't put his finger on it, but he couldn't tear his eyes away.

As the music blared and the club buzzed with vibrant energy, Stuart's friends continued to revel in the moment, oblivious to his fascination. They clinked glasses, danced, and exchanged laughter, while Stuart remained in his own world, his mind preoccupied with the enigmatic woman.

His friends, Andy and Victor, seemed to notice Stuart's distraction and decided to playfully tease him. Andy, always quick-witted and mischievous, suggested bringing the woman over to their table. Stuart resisted, dismissing the idea with a chuckle and mild protest.

"Don't scare Stuart with women talks, Andy," Victor joined in, amused by the banter. "You know he's not one to jump into things like that. Let him enjoy his night."

"I'm bringing them over here" Andy said the next second, don't know why but Stuart got really nervous at the sound of that

"No! no! Andy let them be, I don't wanna have anything to do with them and they're not my type" he said nervously looking at the girls direction

"Tell me which is your type of girl then, I will get her to you right away" Andy said loudly

"I don't need a girl tonight, so, just let me be?" Stuart said calmly to Andy which I'm sure he understood cause he got his lips shut

"C'mon man what's gotten into you, you're never like this in the club" Victor asked looking quizzically at Stuart

"Giving up on women, I guess!" Andy said smiling

"Just shut up, you should know how Stuart is when it comes to women" Victor cautioned Andy while Stuart sat still and watched them both argue

The trio shared a laugh, with Stuart grateful that his friends understood him. They knew him well enough to know that he preferred observing rather than diving headfirst into unfamiliar situations. It was this cautious nature that sometimes kept him from fully embracing the excitement of the club scene.

But there was something different about this woman. It was as if she danced and drank in her own world, unbothered by the throngs of people surrounding her. Her confidence and independence were evident in the way she moved and carried herself. Stuart couldn't help but be enthralled.

As the night wore on, Stuart couldn't shake the feeling that there was a connection, however fleeting, between him and the mysterious woman. Maybe it was the way her eyes sparkled or the smile that played on her lips. Whatever the reason, Stuart felt drawn to her.

Getting tired of their questioning, he grabbed his wine and stood to his feet

"Alright, enough of this," Stuart declared suddenly, surprising his friends. "I'm going to talk to her."

Andy and Victor exchanged knowing glances, realizing that Stuart's fascination had finally reached its climax. They wished him luck and continued their night as Stuart made his way through the crowd, determined to introduce himself to the captivating woman.

As Stuart approached her with a mixture of nerves and intrigue, he couldn't help but wonder what awaited him. Would she be as fascinating up close? Would their connection transcend the crowded club and the noisy atmosphere? Only time would tell, but Stuart was ready to take a chance and see where this unexpected encounter would lead.

After a while, Carissa nudged Katelyn and pointed towards the VIP section. The mysterious man had left his seat and was now making his way towards them. Katelyn's heart skipped a beat as he approached.

"Hello ladies," he greeted with a charming smile. "I couldn't help but notice your energy. Mind if I join you?"

Katelyn and Carissa glanced at each other, exchanging excited looks. "Of course!" Katelyn replied, feeling a surge of anticipation.
