Chapter 1 - Prologue

In the wake of destruction, wreckage lay across the entire landscape.

Lifeless forms were scattered around the plane, like fallen petals in a decimated garden. A haunting reminder of the violence that had taken place.

A man stood above the clearing, looming, his hair white as freshly fallen snow. He was clad in gleaming black exosuit that hugged his form like a second skin.

In his grasp, a katana reflected the sun, stained in crimson blood. The remnants of devastation seemed to bow before him, paying homage, as though he could control the elements themselves.

Across from him, a figure stood. Clearly not human, the being had a strange presence to it, unsettling.

Its skin glowed softly under the moonlight, its eyes shimmering like molten silver. It was impossible to look away from it.

Its hair flowed around it, framing its unusual features like a coat. Despite its seemingly calm appearance, there was a sense of dread that it provoked, an aura that told of ancient knowledge and power.

A voice suddenly pierced through from the creature.

"You fiend! Look at all the destruction you've caused! Innocent lives lost! How can you be so ruthless!?" the alien said, it's voice shaking with fury.

The sound echoed across the plane, causing the ruins and earth to tremble.

"Your people attacked ours. You reap what you sow."

The warriors voice was cold and dismissive, as though he hadn't just unleashed a carnage.

"We only wanted to help you! We've been watching Eldoralth for a long time. Too many people killed because your kind couldn't accept your differences and live together in peace." the alien tried to reason with him.

The man scoffed. "By killing innocent people? Your logic is flawed."

The alien, enraged, said through gritted teeth, "Fine, I'll show you your place."

"Mystic Mana Convergence" it called in an even deeper voice that shook the hills.

With a flip of its tendril, the alien drew the very essence of mana that surged through the world.

He immediately directed the mana collected onto his outstretched palm. The energy rippled and morphed into a gleaming ball of energy.

Threads of mana weaved through the air, forming intricate patterns that danced around the alien's extended hand.

In one explosive movement, the ball of energy shot towards the man.

The man observed the attack headed for him with palpable calmness. His voice resounding through out the area as he muttered "Stellar Fusion Eruption."

The energy he exuded crackled into tiny volts, cutting into matter. It was like he harnessed the power of the elements: earth, fire, water, air, light, and darkness—all at once. A bright light exploded, enveloping everything around it as each merged in perfect harmony.

With full concentration, he channeled his

energy into his weapon – the katana that had become an extension of his very being.

The blade gleamed with an ethereal light, a dizzying dance of colourful hues creating a synchrony.

As the man swung the katana, it effortlessly cut through the air leaving a trail of elemental magic.

The earth shook beneath him, flames burst out from his blade, water swirled, gales whipped like a storm, and even space seemed to ripple at his command.

In a clash, their attacks met in the air. There was no explosion, no cataclysmic destruction. The katana simply sliced through like hot knife through butter, drawing a thin line between the alien's brows.

The alien erupted into laughter, in one final deisplay of arrogance. "You have no idea what's coming. Your world is doomed."

"You talk too much," the man retorted calmly, sheathing his katana. That single move split the alien into two, and so did the ground beneath his feet for a thousand kilometers.

The man, however unperturbed, looked away, aloof, as if detaching himself from the aftermath of all the destruction. His countenance remained oddly unaffected by the entire incident.

As he turned towards the swirling portal that survived the havoc – a gateway that led to another realm, He addressed his katana,

"Well, Katara, looks like it's just you and me."

The katana trembled with excitement in his hand.

"Easy tiger, we'll fight a lot of people soon," the man said with a chuckle. He didn't seem afraid of the impending battles to come.

"I really should have chosen a cooler name," he muttered as he entered the portal, leaving damnation behind.
