"Madam, here's the vessel," Dorothy said.
"Ahh, thank you. Good night." Suzy closed her phone and kept it on the bedside table.
"Would you not have dinner?" Dorothy inquired.
"I'm full. You should have dinner," Suzy said.
Dorothy hummed and left the bedroom before glancing at sleeping Chris.
Suzy sat by his side and soaked the towel into the water. Wringing the towel, Suzy dabbed it on Chris's face gently. Her heart ached to see the bruises on his face. He even flinched in her slumber when the damped cloth made contact with his bruise. She blew air to soothe his pain and the frown disappeared from his forehead.
Opening his shirt, Suzy wiped his chest with the same towel. She had a lot of things going on in her head and she decided to meet Arthur soon. She knew even the grandfather was troubled with today's incident.
