"Kaely, what happened to the quartet?" Carla just called the group and learned that someone had canceled their entertainment.
It was too late to rebook them since they had already committed to perform for someone else. Now, they had no music.
"I am sorry, but I forgot to tell you I decided to change it." Her friend and partner in the decorations and entertainment just informed her.
She did not mind if her friend changed it. But she would appreciate a heads-up. She almost had a heart attack, thinking that they would not have someone to perform during the party.
"Ok." She did not have time to argue with her. "So where are they?" Carla asked, checking the time on her watch.
She knew the party was about to start soon. She wanted everyone to be ready by then. So far, the decorations were terrific, but the musicians were still missing.
