"Let us raise our glasses to one impressive young man who graces us with his masterpieces." The party host lifted his hand, toasting his champagne to everyone who gathered around the center of the Gallery.
He could only do the same, appreciating the gesture. However, even though this was one of his dreams, he did not feel like celebrating.
Of course, he was thankful for the opportunity to present his work. But he still did not feel complete, knowing a part of his success missed one essential ingredient.
"Let us hear from the man himself." The host continued.
"Let us give him a round of applause." Encouraging everyone to cheer and clap their hands.
"Mr. Dale Hawkins." And the man announced his name.
At that moment, all he wanted was to blend with the background. He did not wish for attention, especially to stand before his guests and make a speech.
