She should have known that she would be behind this. But what was she doing with this man? What was her connection to this organization?
"What are you doing?" Frances had asked earlier when she saw the young woman mingling with the leader of this syndicate.
She would admit Farrah had caught her by surprise. She was completely unaware of the young woman's plans. Now, it seemed her apprentice was calling the shot as their roles reversed.
"I did what you asked me to." The other woman sarcastically responded.
Of course, she did not miss the amusement on the young woman's face as a bright smile appeared on her lips. It was clear Farrah was enjoying their situation, or rather her circumstances.
She had to hand it to Farrah for fooling her. She did not expect that the cunning woman could have a brain in that head of hers. But clearly, she had underestimated her.
