Where did that come from?
Thalia heard it pop out of her mouth before her brain could process what she had just said. It was like somebody else took over her body, taking control of her actions away from her.
The next thing she knew, her hands moved across his chest, but instead of pushing him away, they held on to his shirt for support.
"I... I am not sure." Travis seemed to be lost for words as he stared down at her. That was quite unusual since he had always been so sure of himself.
She guessed she had taken him by surprise with her question. But he was not the only one. Until that point, she questioned her sanity for her sudden boldness.
But then again, she blamed their situation. She believed the stress of her friend's disappearance had messed up with her head.
"I want nothing else but to kiss you, but..." He held his words, appearing hesitant. But his eyes never left hers as if he was studying her.
