"I would admit this is pretty delicious." His date stabbed another large slice of pancake and shoved it into her mouth. "Do you think Leslie would mind if I pick her brain for the recipe?"
He never thought she could be that hungry as she took one large bite after another. For a chef, he always thought she would be picky with the food she ate.
Nonetheless, he knew no one could resist Leslie's cooking. She was not just great with her pancakes but most of her specialty dishes, too.
"I told you. Even the coffee tastes extraordinary." Travis bragged, knowing it was just an ordinary, cheap coffee bean, but it had been far better than the expensive ones he bought in most coffee shops.
Truthfully, he believed Leslie could make something special from just anything. But that could only be his bias since he grew up enjoying her cooking.
"Yeah! I could not agree with you more." Thalia nodded as she took a sip of the hot coffee.
