Her morning began with such high hopes. She woke up with a broad smile on her sleepy face, beaming at the streaming sunlight through the windows of her new place.
She believed, with a few little bumps, it was the start of her new life. Things might not have worked in her last business. This time, it would be different.
"If I have to work twice as hard, I will," Thalia uttered as a promise to herself. "This time, nothing will stop me from achieving my dream."
She swore that no one could ruin her day or her future. From this day forward, she would work harder to reach not just her dream but her friend's dream as well.
"Isn't this such a nice day?" She even cheerfully greeted the workers when she arrived at the restaurant.
She was glad to see that the contractor, as promised, had been working around the clock to expedite the renovations.
