"It is just dinner." She kept telling herself after checking her makeup one more time.
Physically, she knew she already looked great. Frankly, she did not need to do much to look presentable. She had always had fair skin, glowing hair, a beautiful face, and a matching ideal body, not too thin, but not fat either.
However, psychologically, she believed something was wrong with her. Maybe it was the guilt that she was looking for a job behind her husband's back. Or, it could be this dinner.
"It is not like..." Jules stopped her tongue before she could voice out what was running in her head.

She could not keep denying and lying about it. It would not do her any good and would never make a difference. She just had to accept the facts.
