"None of this is a game to me. This..." She pointed to herself. "This is my life, and Oliver you are playing with."

"You can't just say that I should forget the past and for us to start over again." She stared at him with those eyes that had seen too many pains and hardships.

"I have news for you. That is not that simple." Jules placed her hand in her heart as if cradling or probably keeping it from shattering into pieces.

On the other hand, he could feel a knife twisting in his guts as he listened to her voice and her statement tainted with sadness and pain. Worse, he noticed no accusation in her tone, just plain despair.

"I am not expecting it would be easy, but I..." But he stopped before saying more, having no idea what else to tell her or do. He was clueless about how he should handle the situation.
