She blinked once.

She blinked twice.

Damn! Her head hurts.

Jules held her hands through her temples, massaging her fingers to relieve the throbbing ache in her head. But it barely helped, not even easing the pain one bit.

She looked around the room, squinting her eyes from the morning sun coming from the window. But all she saw was the empty room.

"Ouch!" She had to temporarily close her eyes, feeling the blinding light intensifying the pain.

She was not intoxicated last night, but she did have several drinks, too many for her alcohol limit. Then, she hardly had a good night's sleep, remembering tossing and turning all night in the bed.

She even remembered sensing Damon as he paced the room for several minutes, but she pretended to be asleep. 

But darn it!

Jules truly wanted to give him her piece of mind. She would like him to hear what she thought of him. And that was.
