"Hmm!" The sound of satisfaction floated in the air.
"Yum, this cake is 'absolutely' delicious, Mom." Oliver complimented after taking another piece of the delicious mixture of flour, butter, eggs, sweeteners, and chocolate flavorings.
Her son had already eaten a piece but had asked for another serving. She reluctantly gave him another slice, remembering he might have a tummy ache with all the sweets he had eaten.
Nevertheless, she was just glad he seemed over with the earlier incident. Just like any ordinary boy, he bounced back into his routine.
"This is the last one, okay." Jules reminded the young boy as she placed the plate before him, taking the empty one.
She dumped the empty plates and started tidying up the kitchen. She loved baking, but the aftermath was just like going to war.
Still, she enjoyed she learned some new things from Damon's grandmother. Just like Damon said, she was great in the kitchen.
