She did not know what possessed her to say those things. But she guessed she just had enough of being the aggrieved party.
After crying her heart out inside the bathroom of their room, she washed her tears and promised herself that would be the last time she would shed her tears.
"You have bullied me long enough." She said in front of the mirror, but instead of seeing her face, she pictured him standing before her.
Why else would he make fun of her? Why else would he play with her emotions? This arranged marriage was a joke to him, set to torture her.
For what? Because she loved someone who was above her social status. She would not stand for it anymore. She would not let him step on her because he thought he and his family were better than her.
