In a few more minutes, he stood in the corner as the doctors barked their orders and the nurses attended to his wife's needs.
"We will know more about your wife's condition after we have run our tests, Mr. Hawkins. But she is stable for now, so you have nothing to worry about." The head doctor assured him.
He wished he could believe the doctor. But until he learned about his wife's condition, he could not relax. Nonetheless, he was glad they were already in the hospital where Jules would be in good hands.
After almost an hour, his mother and sisters arrived at the hospital. They rushed to get there as soon as they heard.
"I am still waiting for the results. But Jules seems ok now. Just sleeping." Damon told everyone, not wanting them to worry.
As the minutes ticked by, more and more of their family and friends crowded the hospital, wanting to check on his wife.
