"Kaely!" She called to her sister when she finally found her. She knew she had to talk to her before the party began.
She had been meaning to see her, but with everything that happened, she could not seem to find the time. Either she was busy, or Kaely was also unavailable.
"What is it, Jules? Do you need anything?" Her sister quickly ran to her side, seemingly ready to do her bidding.
She had noticed how attentive she had become lately. It was as if she would do anything to ensure she had everything she wanted.
She assumed it was the guilt because of what Venus did to her. But she did not blame her. Kaely had nothing to do with what happened. Nonetheless, she understood how she felt.
"No! I don't need anything." She did not want her sister to serve her hand and foot. She guessed she should put a stop to this. "But I do need to talk to you privately."
