"Don't run too fast. You guys might hurt yourselves." She shouted at the two kids who were playing with the new dog.
Grandpa Louis and Grandma Esme came to visit today carrying a puppy he adopted from a dog shelter. He said that the kids needed animals around them to play with.
"I would have brought a horse or a cow in here, but I don't think Frances would be happy about it." The older man jokingly said.
She could not agree with him more. Frances would have a fit if she saw a live farm animal in their backyard. But she also agreed with Frances. Horses and cows did not belong in the city.
"Dog is just fine." Jules had no problem with having that mutt chasing them around.
She offered the couple some refreshments since it was a bit sunny outside. She also baked a few cookies for the kids earlier that she thought Grandma Louis would like.
"This is delicious." The older man happily chewed one, attacking the cookie with gusto.
