"Is he alright?" Thalia concernedly asked her friend, Carla, as they sat at the Family Lounge, waiting for news.
She had been watching him, wondering how he was. Since they arrived at the hospital, she never had the chance to talk to him.
It had been chaos when they learned that Damon was in critical condition. They had to rush to the hospital, not knowing if he had survived or not.
"I don't know. Travis had not said much." Damon's sister, who had finally stopped crying, turned to her. Her eyes were still puffy, but at least it was now dry.
As much as she felt like crying, her friend needed her to be brave for the two of them. Jules was going through a difficult situation. She already anticipated her friend would need a shoulder to cry on.
Nevertheless, she thought someone else might also need a friend. Not everybody who looked and acted tough could be as strong as they seemed.
