"So, what is up with you?" Damon asked, thinking it had been a while since he and his friend had caught up.
He had been so busy with his family and the company that he barely had time for his friend when he came around.
However, he noticed a few changes in him. Although he could not pinpoint what it was, he knew something was odd about him.
"Nothing much." His friend answered with a shrug. But he did not buy it. He could tell when his friend was keeping something from him.
Although he thought this was not the right time to talk about such personal matters, he could not help but be curious.
Besides, they had nothing else to do as they waited in the shadows, observing their enemies from afar. Until his men returned, all they could do was sit and wait.
"Usually, when you say nothing much, your face lit up. But now, you look like you have a pile of shit on your shoulders." As he claimed, he knew his friend quite too well.
