With all the chaos, he knew thinking about how he felt should be the last of his priorities. But no matter how hard he tried, his thoughts seemed to have a mind of its own.
Instead of focusing on their current situation, all his brain could think about was kissing her and continuing where they had left off.
"Travis..." Her voice was like having cold water poured down on his head. Instantly, it woke him from his trance, snapping him out of his semi-unconscious state.
And damn! He had just been daydreaming about her while she was sitting next to him and probably staring at him the whole time.
"Are you ok?" She concernedly asked while she sat on the passenger side of his car.
"Hmm!" He blinked twice before glancing in her direction, nodding in response and hoping she could not read what was going through his head.
But before he could dwell on anything else, he heard the loud honking of horns, reminding him that he was also driving.
