"Hmm!" Her eyes popped open to the bright light streaming from an open window.
She woke up feeling refreshed in a soft bed, a warm blanket, and a breakfast in bed. It even has a fresh flower laid neatly in a laced handkerchief.
Then, she found a note attached to the long stem of the white rose. It was far from what she had expected. It seemed as if she had just woken up into an overdue vacation.
"So, what is this?" She mumbled, raising her left eyebrow as she pulled and unfolded the white, perfume-scented piece of paper.
I ENJOYED YOUR COMPANY LAST NIGHT. I HOPE WE CAN HAVE LUNCH LATER WHEN I RETURN.

"Hal, Hal, Hal... Aren't you just full of surprises?" She muttered, gently rolling out of bed and dropping the paper on the linen mattress.
Of course, she found his note hilarious. But still, she could not help but slightly chuckle while admiring his elegant penmanship.
