"Yeah, I could not agree more." Honestly, he never thought that he would enjoy their little rendezvous.
Initially, he thought he would find talking to her about personal stuff awkward, especially with their current relationship and situation.
However, once she relaxed, she opened up effortlessly to him. He learned she was indeed intelligent and delightful. Surprisingly, he found her quite charming and entertaining.
"Yeah, right!" She replied with an amusing laugh. "What do you..." But before she could finish her sentence, he silenced her, putting his fingers on his lips.
"Ssshhh!" He thought he heard something as something moved along the bushes not far from their seat.
He doubted the wind caused the mild raucous since the breeze could barely push the leaves above them. It sounded more like movements and footsteps.
Quickly, he turned, looking left and right, trying to investigate where the noise came from, thinking they were not alone anymore.
