Initially, he thought he would find talking to her about personal stuff awkward, especially with their current relationship and situation.
However, once she relaxed, she opened up effortlessly to him. He learned she was indeed intelligent and delightful. Surprisingly, he found her quite charming and entertaining.

"Ssshhh!" He thought he heard something as something moved along the bushes not far from their seat.
He doubted the wind caused the mild raucous since the breeze could barely push the leaves above them. It sounded more like movements and footsteps.
Quickly, he turned, looking left and right, trying to investigate where the noise came from, thinking they were not alone anymore.
