"Ms. Jules, I can see that you had a lovely day." Philip immediately opened the door for her when she arrived at the mansion. "Welcome back!"
She did. She would deny it. She had a great day while out, picking up her dress, shoes, and a matching bag. Thalia might not be there, but Kaely was.
Although it might have started a bit awkward, she and Kaely seemed to have overcome their past. Eventually, they acted like nothing had changed between them.
"Yeah! It has been amazing." She had to admit that it had been oddly incredible.
It was as if she and Kaely were young again, doing the usual things together. At that moment, she did not feel the years that had separated them.
Of course, they argued about their choices, but in the end, they found an amicable solution to their differences, both ending satisfied with the outcome.
"I can see that." His eyes narrowed at her, seemingly examining her from head to toe. "Something is different about you."
