Damn!
She did not expect that.
She assumed it would be one of those three as she checked them out. She thought she had her date figured out. But again, she had been mistaken.
Nevertheless, she did not mind whichever boat they were sailing. She just wanted to get this day over. Somehow, she felt it was dangerous to spend more time with him.
"Is it too late to back out? I don't think it is safe..." She paused, wondering whether she referred to riding the boat or being with the man.
Although deep inside, she knew a part of her was looking forward to it. She did not want to feel this way, but unfortunately, she had no control over her wayward emotions.
"Hey! Don't say that." He pulled his hand away when she did not take it. "If you must know, she might not be the love machine, but I assure you she is very reliable." Referring to his boat.
