"Are you sure you don't want company?"
Again, why did she decline her friend's offer to accompany her to her new apartment? Because she could not impose on her friend, knowing that compared to her, Jules had other responsibilities besides the restaurant.
"I am sure I can find my way around without help." She had lived in this city before. Maybe not in this part, but she knew she could handle herself without bothering her friend.
Since she arrived in the city, she had stayed in a cheap inn until she could secure her lease to her more permanent place.
Then, Jules arranged to send her more personal belongings to her new place when the lease cleared. Now, all she had to do was move in.
"I guess I will be needing this." She grabbed a bottle of wine from the grocery rack as she dropped by a store near where she would live.
Of course, she would need food, toiletries, and other household materials before moving into her new living quarters.
