Not to mention. Despair!
Everything gushed like a tidal wave, engulfing her entire body in an overwhelming nightmare. She tried to open her eyes, but even that minor movement consumed her as if they burned with the fires of hell.
"No!" It was not real.
But it felt so real, as pieces of shattered images flashed through her mind. In one shard of glass was a reflection of blood gushing through her face.
On another, she saw a blinding light coming towards her. It was like a big ball of fire about to hit her, but there was no time. She could not get away.
"Eeehhh!"
A few seconds later, a horrifying sound echoed in the air. It was not something she had heard before, at least in her personal experience.
