She knew they had many more things to discuss. But it seemed having a meaningful conversation was hard when kids were around. They barely started when their son interrupted them.
She had told him about her plan to open a business with a partnership with Thalia. She even informed him of their silent investor, Jimmy, who agreed to fund their endeavor.
"You should have told me." That was her husband's response. "I would have helped you."
She did not doubt that he would. He would even go the distance by getting her everything she needed to start her business. But that was not what she wanted.
But before they could discuss more, Oliver came into the picture, halting their conversation. She guessed they would have to continue the rest later when they were finally alone.
"I need you two to rest..." She pointed to her son and their young visitor as she escorted them back into their rooms.
