He had one last meeting before he could go home. But truthfully, it was the last thing on his mind. Lately, he noticed that work had become the least of his priorities.
Was it a good thing? Probably not. At least for his business. But emotionally, he never felt more exhilarated. He had never felt more alive.
"Sir Damon, Mr. McLarren is already on his way up." His secretary gave him a heads-up.
After his lunch date with a childhood friend, he returned to work to finish up the documents on his table and attend to some clients.
Now, he had to meet with Jimmy before calling it a day. But it was an important meeting he could not miss. Therefore, his other plans would have to wait.
"Send him in as soon as he arrives," Damon instructed his secretary while she took all the accomplished files on his table. Then, she left him to wait for his last visitor for the day.
