She would not lie. She was a little uneasy with Damon's mother showing interest in her son. Although, she believed it was every mother's dream to have their mother-in-law involved in their grandchild's life.
Still, in her case, she had her doubts about Frances's intentions. It would have been different if she immediately showed affection toward her son at their first meeting.
But now, she could not help but smell something fishy.
"I just don't feel right about it," Jules muttered over the phone, telling the person on the other line her sentiment. "Call it mother's instinct." She sighed, still slightly concerned by last night's dinner.
Although, she would admit, sometimes she could be wrong. But still, it was the mother's role to worry about the welfare of their child. And that would never change whether her son was six or sixty.
